I’m Kat (they/them), a trans/nonbinary 100% hand poke tattoo artist! My flash and custom tattoo designs draw a lot of inspiration from the queer community, drag, street art, and from my personal experiences.

I don’t use a machine to tattoo, I use the hand poke technique. Known by many names, hand poke, stick n poke, hand tapped, etc, this technique of tattooing has been around since the beginning of the art form itself.
Key Things to Know About Hand Poke Tattoos:
Despite having to place dot by dot, It’s not always slower than machine tattoo
Shorter healing times
Less trauma to the skin
Sensory-friendly, you don’t feel the vibrations through your bones/body from the machine
Permanent, they stay/last just as well as machine tattoos
